Do you get the sudden urge to pick up the pencil and start sketching every time you see a piece of art or design, you long to create yourself? Does being exposed to innovative designs, influences, colours and textures inspire you?

Bingo, you are an artist in the making, just like me…. or maybe not like me. Coz, I am too wrapped up in my daily struggles that it’d be a miracle if I got enough time to pick up a pencil and start sketching, but still I love to sketch, always have and always will. Designs and the designing process have inspired me, and it has helped me to get through many tough days. This blog is my contribution to all the amazing designers out there, for I hope it inspires others as it has inspired me.

So here’s some inspiration from me to you…

What makes you feel inspired?

Everyone loves a classic, from a dress, a movie to a brand; people tend to appreciate a classic design that is easy to wrap one's head around.

A logo is the first thing that communicates the brand to its customers, a signature of the brand so to speak. What I have come to understand from all my digging through the internet is that ‘a logo needs to be simple yet extraordinary, reflecting the essentials of the business and flexible, all at the same time.’

Here are a few logos that tick all the right boxes…

It’s just amazing how a logo can take you on a trip down memory lane.

It just so happened that I came across these wonderful logos and like a blast from the past, they took me to an earlier time, to me as a kid. These logo designs are a like a sundae - one part creativity and one part artwork topped off with nostalgia, a lot of it.

Sigh. I sure miss the days when I would spend time with my family and friends without a care in the world. Growing up sure sucks!!!

As the weekend was approaching I was in dire need for a dose of inspiration with all the hullabulla going on at the office. And that's when I stumbled upon these artistically designed logos over the web and it made my day...

Never thought that a small logo could inspire me so much.

These designers or shall I say artists have taken ordinary things and have made them into something quite extraordinary, don’t you think?

I see myself drawn these days, to some amazing, creative and funky logo designs I got across. Feeling happy that I have a chance to share them with you my dear friends….
