Bingo, you are an artist in the making, just like me…. or maybe not like me. Coz, I am too wrapped up in my daily struggles that it’d be a miracle if I got enough time to pick up a pencil and start sketching, but still I love to sketch, always have and always will. Designs and the designing process have inspired me, and it has helped me to get through many tough days. This blog is my contribution to all the amazing designers out there, for I hope it inspires others as it has inspired me.

What makes you feel inspired? 

Business card – a small piece of paper that most of us would have thought is out dated. But, it would seem that even in this digital age, a business card is still the best way to introduce yourself at business meetings; it has not lost its charm through the years. Designers have also upped the ante with the business card designs to keep up with the digital revolution.

Everyone loves a classic, from a dress, a movie to a brand; people tend to appreciate a classic design that is easy to wrap one's head around.

A logo is the first thing that communicates the brand to its customers, a signature of the brand so to speak. What I have come to understand from all my digging through the internet is that ‘a logo needs to be simple yet extraordinary, reflecting the essentials of the business and flexible, all at the same time.’

It’s just amazing how a logo can take you on a trip down memory lane.

It just so happened that I came across these wonderful logos and like a blast from the past, they took me to an earlier time, to me as a kid. These logo designs are a like a sundae - one part creativity and one part artwork topped off with nostalgia, a lot of it.

Sigh. I sure miss the days when I would spend time with my family and friends without a care in the world. Growing up sure sucks!!!

As the weekend was approaching I was in dire need for a dose of inspiration with all the hullabulla going on at the office. And that's when I stumbled upon these artistically designed logos over the web and it made my day...

Never thought that a small logo could inspire me so much. 

These designers or shall I say artists have taken ordinary things and have made them into something quite extraordinary, don’t you think?

“The only thing that never changes is change itself.”  And it seems to be true for creativity too, coz these logos are just out of this world. One look at ‘em and poof the brand names just stares right on your face. It’s just amazing how these logos portray the brand name so perfectly!!!
